CampFI is a 3 day & night retreat that generally includes over 50 campers on their road to financial independence.  Accommodations and recreational activities vary by location, usually including double occupancy hotel-style rooms.  However, past accommodations have included single-person rooms (one bed), some rooms with more than two people and even outdoorsy tent / chalet options.  Again, each camp venue will have it’s own specific offerings.  In 2023 there were 8 camps in 6 states (Florida,  Virginia, Colorado, Minnesota, Texas, and California), and all indications are that the Financial Independence community will continue to grow and strengthen.

CampFI is an inclusive place, open to everyone regardless of where you are on the path to Financial Independence (from heavily in debt to already Financially Independent)

If you live in (or want to visit) the Southwest and would like to hang out with other FIREwalkers for a fun-filled, relaxing weekend, take a break from the grind and join us.

I have reserved our spot at the Whispering Winds Catholic Camp and Conference Center, located in Julian, CA, an hour and fifteen minute drive northeast from San Diego, CA.

Your ticket covers FOOD and LODGING for 3 nights.

**Unfortunately, the ticket price does NOT include Linens (Blanket, pillow, sheets, towels, washcloth). The retreat center does charge $30 to provide these for us if we like. Please note the add-on option when you purchase your ticket.

Q&A:

How much are children?

< 3 years old:  Free

3 – 11 years old: $350 each

12 years and older: Full Price

Children are welcome.  Most rooms are double occupancy.  If two adults bring a child, there is no charge for the child under 3 years old as that does not increase the amount of lodging capacity required.

Can I get a private bed?

–No.  The retreat center has provided us mostly double occupancy rooms. This means you will be sharing a room with one other person. This is reflected in the pricing.

How many tickets are there?

–There are 60 tickets available.
