By now\, you have heard about Stephen’s dream of EAGLE Cohousing—a community designed to bring together FI-minded individuals in a close-knit neighborhood. \nCheck out the community’s website here: EAGLECohousing. \nNote: The map is pinned at the future site of the community’s Common House. Feel free to check it out\, zoom in\, and explore the surrounding areas. Don’t miss out on this exciting weekend where you’ll get a firsthand look at the EAGLE Cohousing Community\, the surrounding city\, and a variety of activities designed to showcase what our area has to offer. \nThe cost of the ticket is to cover any incidental costs associated with the weekend. If the funds aren’t needed\, they will be returned. The ticket does NOT cover lodging\, transportation\, or meals. We will communicate among the group to help coordinate transportation (carpool\, share rental car fees\, shuttles\, etc.) as much as possible. \n  \nTRANSPORTATION \nAtlanta Airport is the closest major airport. Transportation from the airport is addressed below. \nIf you are coming from  BWI (Baltimore/Washington International) there is a small airline called Contour Airlines with daily direct flights between BWI airport and Macon (MCN) airport. Macon’s airport is about an hour and 15 minutes closer to EAGLE than Atlanta’s Airport. Additionally\, because it is a very small airport\, you’ll likely spend an hour less just working your way through security and to the gate. Obviously\, using the Macon airport might work for only a few specific travel situations\, but I wanted to share it just in case. \nShuttle from the Atlanta Airport \nGroome Transportation offers direct shuttles from Warner Robins\, Georgia\, to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). Their service is available 365 days a year\, including holidays\, with frequent departures and curbside pick-up and drop-off at the terminal. Below is their current daily schedule from Atlanta to Warner Robins. \nPrices are currently $59 one-way from ATL to WR. \nGroome Transportation’s Warner Robins office is located at 110 Vietnam Veterans Memorial Parkway\, Warner Robins\, GA 31088. Their office is open 24 hours a day\, and phone agents are available 24/7 at (478) 471-1616. Groome Transportation \n \nLODGING \n\n\n\nRigby’s Best Western: Ideal for Friday night as it is near the expected hangout spot—Rigby’s Entertainment Complex—and many restaurant options. Best Western\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHampton Inn Warner Robins: Offers free breakfast and an indoor pool\, ideal for a relaxing stay. Hampton Inn\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHilton Garden Inn Warner Robins: Known for its excellent service and convenient location\, with an on-site restaurant and fitness center. Hilton Garden Inn\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCourtyard by Marriott Warner Robins: Features spacious rooms and a stylish lobby with a bistro serving breakfast and dinner. Courtyard by Marriott\n\n\n\n  \nWe look forward to seeing you there!
